And my final post for today are the super EASY favors that I created for our guests. I wanted something simple that wouldn't take much time to complete, and someone would enjoy. I came up with several thoughts and decided on this. I made 15 of these for each couple/family to take.

Candle Holder:
Inside:
Hot Glued the Candle into the holder
Light Brown Sand
Outside:
I wrapped the ribbon around the neck of the holder, and hot glued ribbon and Hawaiian colored flowers to the outside. The middle of the flowers have an embellishment to dress it up. All of these took me less then an hour to create.

For our out of town guests, I wanted to create something simple yet enjoyable for them. I know how it is to go to a hotel and at 11pm, you want a snack. So, what I did is I took chocolate covered nuts, candy, shortbread and chocolate chip cookies and put them in their own individual bags, and put a ribbon around them. Then, I found a notepad that had Hawaiian flowers on it, and it matched the bag perfectly, and I put that in there as well.

Below is the bag I created:
Base: Brown Paper Bag
1st Layer: Pumpkin Pie Cardstock (SU)
2nd Layer: Pink, Orange and Purple Designer Paper
3rd Layer: Punched Circles of Ruby Red Cardstock (SU)
4th Layer: Individual lettering of "Aloha"
Tags: I received from my shoebox swap a few weeks ago and saw that they matched perfectly, so I added a Thank You stamp (Lots of Thoughts-SU)

Party Invitations

This past weekend I threw a 70th Surprise party for my Mother In Law. I made the invitations, favors and out of town goodie bags. My MIL's favorite color is pink (any shade), so I was able to incorportate Hawaiian colors and pink into the mix.

The invitations were kept simple, because I hadn't decided until afterwards that it would have a Luau theme to it, so everything had a little bit of Hawaiian except for the invitations.

For the invitations, I used:
Base: Pretty In Pink (SU)
2nd Layer: Whisper White (SU)
3rd Layer: Pretty In Pink (SU)
4th Layer: Stripped Designer Paper
Scallop Punch with Pretty In Pink Circle Punch
Stamp: Lots of Thoughts (SU)
Lime Green Ribbon

Welcome!!

Today is the BIG day. I am finally sitting down to start my blog so that everyone can see what I have been up to. I've been busy :)

I am a Stampin Up Demo, so alot of my work will be using the products from SU!

I am hoping to be able to share with you my creations of scrapbook pages, stampin, cards and everything else I can possibly get my hands on.

I look forward to posting and reading everyones comments and feedback.

Enjoy!
